Yes, I know making iron into iron doors makes money and selling cacti as well, but is there any other way to make money beside profit shops?

Hack the server and give yourself money. But actually I am not sure there are many effective ways to get money exept for that.... Ask around the server?

Grow crops and sell them like a farmer. I recommend farming netherwarts.
