Lately I've been hearing horror stories of young citizens of our planet intoxicating themselves by way of alcohol and committing dastardly acts, such as arsen, cannibalism, and indecent exposure. I can't help to think that games like Minecraft are contributing to this epidemic... Your player can ingest countless numbers of potions(cocktails) that effect them in many different ways, simulating the experience of being under the influence of alcoholic beverages. I do not think that our youth should be exposed to such obscene things, we cannot romanticize the consumption of alcohol. Before we know it, the world will be destroyed by a horde of alcoholic children. I implore all of you to stand by me and fight this injustice of our planets children!

god help us all... this might be the last chance for any of us...

The second part you mentioned is completely untrue, and you have no evidence of these disastrous incidences occurring now.

I don't know, this thread seems pretty pointless to me. It should also be put in the Off-Topic section of the forums.

No offensive to anyone, but i'm starting to think whoever started this thread is a troll...
This is why a change never occurs, people like me are bastardized as a troll, or a conspiracy theorist. I understand that sitting back and pretending like nothing's wrong is the easiest thing to do, but you know whats not easy? Fighting this battle alone. I could be like you and my life would be easier, my days would be shorter, my mind would be less troubled, my heart would hurt less. But I want a change, I don't want to sit back and watch things burn and weep over the ashes once its too late.

I believe that social media and games that allow for social interactions contribute to cyber bullying. It's practically everywhere, where there is a way for people to chat with others, without them seeing them or knowing them. Minecraft especially does this because it introduces the young generation to the already toxic community of Minecraft, and that is how they grow up. I think this problem should be addressed similar to the age that kids get phones. Social media may be dangerous for kids because people can insult them on their posts, but at least there is a private option like on Instagram. (Or a friend option like on snap chat). I don't use snap chat so I may be wrong.

Gaming platforms have minimal suppression or limitations on insulting other people, because people are free to do whatever they want. It's a problem, but a solution to this will destroy most games. This is a relevant topic because it affects the growth of kind of the naive and innocent younger generation that are influenced by the toxic community of Minecraft. I don't think there should be an age limit, because it won't matter if there is one - I was 11 when I downloaded an IOS game that was 17+ (mortal kombat). I think people should know that being toxic is so bad in many ways.

Thanks for reading,
Wrys

how dare you make such accusations. Completely out of line, sir. Never have I ever seen such horror and such nonsense on such a serious post. You, sir, should be ashamed for your outrageous behavior. I'm not upset, just disappointed.

I believe that in the complex modern world that kids grow up in today, there is no way to stop 6 year olds from playing MC. The Minecraft community is toxic and full of nasty people but the only way to stop kids joining this community is to break every computer in the world. And this would be too resource intensive to even attempt.
By the way, WAT DOS THE ANIMAL SAY!?!?!
