Survival Reset, for it or not?

I realize there has been some threads going up about this, but I wanted to say something for it as well. I have been playing survival since around early 2016, so probably not to far after the previous reset from what I've heard. But for people that have been playing even longer, thats a lot of time. I like survival a lot, but I just think we could all have a fresh start.

This is just my opinion and it doesn't really matter so.

The staff will give an announcement if survival is resetting or not. I'm not staff myself, but I guarantee that they will say something.

Yeah I know they will say something, was just curious to see how people were thinking.

In my personal opinion, I don't think survival should reset yet.

I'm sure staff would announce it pretty soon.

Ive been playing for over a year and many of the players that are from when i was playing have left with the promise of coming back after a reset. I am a survival hog and pretty much spend 80% of my time there. I see some Pros and Cons of a reset. some pro's include a new map, new plugins, fresh start. Some Con's are the fact that since the last reset (roughly 2 years ago) some players have now dedicated 2 years to what they have now and that seems a little devastating also a lot of very new players would feel discouraged since they would have just been starting. I personally want a reset with the hope of there being new things added.

I agree with @FireCharms, but, having a long period of time without a reset is definitely a con.

Yes, it is a bit saddening to have all your hard work be reset. If Survival does get reset later, you will continue to work hard on builds, etc. and have it eventually reset.

Since Snapcraft has definitely grown since the last reset, I think a reset is much needed.

I'm really sorry if I wasn't clear or I didn't make a lot of sense.

If we get a reset it will probably be after 1.13 is released.

personally i dont think the server needs a reset just expand survival, people have spent tons of money and time on their builds, just expand survival that way people can build new things with new space. problem solved.

Expanding won't have any impact in my opinion. I believe the server should reset and as FireCharm says, with the hope of new things being added. By the way i don't think they will do a reset after 1.13 since they will have to update the plugins and test them for bugs. Also many people like the 1.8 pvp. So in my opinion an upgrade to 1.12 with 1.8 pvp will be okay. PS: 2+ years without reset..

No. Maybe if you bought it like 1-2 weeks before. You'll keep normally only your Rank.
