Update / restart Prison

Reasons For Rest
- Needs Updates.
- Players to far ahead makes others not want to try and play keep up, to just eventually lose.
- Half the server is BOTS "Fake players"
- New spawn and PVP area [Mines are fine]
- Free World is Destroyed


What to Fix
- /fix for [boss rank only]
- /Sellall in all mines.
- /god disabled in pvp.
- longer Looting time after player has been killed.
- Common Crates and Rare Crates are terrible they need new items
- Gaps added back, or more in kits
- Boss gear Prot V unbreaking IV gear Sharp VI [If no reset] If it resets [ p4u3 and sharp V is fine]
- Unreaking XV on [Maxed GodPick]
- Frozen on Armour
- Iron Blocks [mcmmo one]
- When in Pvp mine commands [/plot h, /spawn, /warp pvp ect.] take 5 seconds to get out.
- Longer combat tag
- /ec and /enderchest not just /enderchest
- /feed when ever u want [If u are a donator]



What to add
- PVE area for Exp and food
- Maybe New boss
- New pvp arena /warp Pvpmine Zordor and ./warp pvp [No mine]
- Colour chat Not including [&k,&r,&l,&n,&m,&o]
- Bigger Plots bought from /buy [Own plot world for the people who buy big plots]
- YOU need Guards! [Point of guards is to make it interest, if guards die they should drop something super vauble that u can only get from them. But they a super strong. they also protect and /jail people who don't follow rules like don't hold weapons no hitting ect.]
- Spawn parkour [Little details like that count]
- /warp woodmine [Add Wood Mine]
- /warp cellblock [Add cells]
- DONATOR MINES PLEASE
- Quests
-Small mob grinder a Donator mines
- /gang ally and /gang enemy


Restart: The Server needs a restart for many reasons. Mainly we need something fresh for the old players or main players. We need a spark to play again. For others that they may need a fresh Prison server to play on, this one could be perfect. But its not, Not even close. I know some of my things added or change might not be in your best interest. But it is in your best interest if you want growing numbers in your server! You need to add new things simple things like a wood mine, Parkour, new things and better things to make it fun for everyone all the time. The server shouldn't be only fun when there is a lot of people fighting, you should be able to do so much more that is entertaining on the server. Also add Quests that reward you with money, experience and quest points would be awesome! always giving people something to do! Basically what I'm saying and the server is saying is fix it or reset it.


Keep: Keeping prison is a safe option but a bad option, Unless u add most of what I've requested, I've asked people on prison and they all like the majority of what i suggested. They don't want to lose all there progress like mcmmo, gear, money and plot builds. They would like a revamp of the server. Like adding Guard's and everything or most of what is listed would be it so much better for the server.



Prison V2: This a Third option that could help SnapCraft. Adding a new prison and keeping the old one. I've seen lots of servers do this and it basically makes less problems for you and the server. Reason being is you gave what both party's want, There stuff and a new server to play on. But that doesn't mean you don't add anything to the old prison you would add tiny things like parkour, Pvp arenas, /sellall in mines and revamp it.

I think that a restart may be okay, but turn our money into snapcraft store gift cards (like 400M to 1 dollar snapcraft gift card or something) so that experinced players at least have some form of benefit.

Prison definitly needs a reset/Prison V2
It became super boring for us, the players that play from the start.
So Maarten, if you could do something good, look at this thread and read carefully what Str8 has said in it.

Disagree with a reset/server wipe. Top players should not have their inventories/items reset just to give 'other' players a chance to catch up. That' doesn't make any sense to 'catch up'. Players that want to get to the highest level of FREE can work their way to get it. Clearly the ones who want it will do so. The others are dreamers that just talk about doing it and will never get there. Regardless of what rank you have you still have to work to get to the highest levels. Hard work just proves who can reach it. There aren't any limitations on any players from reaching FREE. Server reset isn't the answer. The real answer is fix and update things that help new players enter Prison. Add more content to keep people entertained. Its not hard.

I would love a new prison but for everyone who bought items and spent money are losing a huge investment, if we could reset it and allow those who bought items such as god-gear and repair tokens keep their items id be all in.

That can not be done because there are tons of people who bought stuff and lost it. It's their problem and not staff's.

The prison needs a overhaul new Donor mines and rewards for people who paid real money for ranks and new pvp mine and spawn and event to keep people coming back however a reset should allow people who paid for Gpicks and items to keep them and allow Ranked players to keep their enderchest to put their God items in and have a staff member check them to make sure they are only taking store purchased items the prison server has lot of good plugins but it need more it needs new plugins and new things to do most days there has been 15 people on (minus the bots) and most of them are people like me who have high Ranks they paid for if you create a copy of the prison server on a separate test branch and have the builder make all these new prison V2 request and add new plugins the server can run as normal until the new one is ready and you can even beta test the Prison V2 server by allowing Brute rank up players to test it and give feed back and improve any small things before allowing everyone to play im fine will losing my rank and most of my items (besides my Gpick) if the server gets new mines for donors and new plugins and events and a higher player base to make the server better and more enjoyable

Reasons For Reset these are barely reasons to reset but ok

- Free World is Destroyed doesn't matter, system being worked on to reset everytime someone ranks up to Free, needs manually reset unless that's gonna be finished anytime soon

If you didn't notice these other servers have a rather dead prison and a somewhat alive prison. also obviously costs em more money since you're adding another server

im i gree with reset only if i can backup my plot

I really like all of the update ideas but resetting the sever would most likely not help the player population but hurt it pretty badly to the point where the server would most likely have to shut down. I think what Maarten should do is consider the updates you mentioned not reset the server and hire a fairly popular YouTuber to play on the server to revive it.
