Hackers.

Recently on Snap craft i have noticed many hackers on the server but mostly Kitpvp. When I'm online I always expect to see at least 1 hacker. Sadly, there is always that one pesky hacker ruining everybody's pvp experience. 90% of the time there are no staff on kitpvp (during my playing time) and there are always hackers running around and on water . What are u gonna do about this? I don't know, I don't run the server. Increasing staff on the server is a risky move but in my opinion you should look for staff that are in different time zones so there is attest 2-3 staff on most of the time. Another thing i noticed is that some staff(not gonna name) come on the kitpvp server, get bombarded by requests to watch a hacker but they go invis and no one knows what happened to them. Im not calling out the staff of the server but i really feel a little more can be done to get rid of these hackers. Yes i know we should report them but there are to many, going through the effort to record, edit, post on youtube, make a thread on the forums and post it takes a quiet a bit of time and after it's done, guess what? there is another one. Im not saying the server is bad or anything, the server is great and most of my Minecraft time is invested on this server, but recently the problem is getting worse.I also want to talk about is the ban time. Most of the time the ban time is only 3 days.. does it do much...? not really. If the hacker really cares about the server and wants another chance, he/she will go through the effort to post an appeal, if not... guess they don't care. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not the best pvper nor am i a hacker detective but, if your gonna tell me that walking on water (yea I'm talking to you jimmy4097) isn't hacking, post a video of yourself doing it on youtube, then i'll believe ya.

Although staff might not always be on, you can contribute to the server by recording any hackers you see.

Well, when the staff go into /v, it is so they can fly down secretly and record/just see this accused hacker for themselves and hold judgement. Or at least, that's what I assume happens, not a staff here, don't take my word for it.

The ban time for three days, if I had to guess, is because those are the firsttime offenders. But if someone is just coming on to hack, I doubt they'd really bother to wait and come back on after the three days AND hack again. Then the whole punishment gets extended. But I concur there, I've seen hackers I've reported say 3-4 times still reappearing and hacking, it can be annoying. Short timed appeals, unless it's a mistake, are usually waited out though.

And sorry if it's not my place to ask, but someone had jesus hacks and wasn't hacking...? How is that?

I don't see how making reports is "too much work". Use recording software.... upload.... Past link with appropriate descriptions.... Bam, done. And if you have multiple? Make a thread with multiple reports in it. This doesn't mean you have to upload them right after you record them either..... Report them after your gaming sessions, etc. Making one report of 5 people is 10x better then 5 reports of 1 person each.

Some people can't. And some are lazy.

It's been said so many times for staff in different time zones (because I get that struggle), but like said above, you should try to contribute to the server like that - if you can. And you haven't noticed the decrease of hackers? Just for some reason I see more hackers the water than seeing hackers using kill aura or something.

The anti-cheat that stopped them all wasn't enough, apparently.
