The old ping was a spoofed ping based on the nearest proxy location, To get your real ping you can type /ping. However servers are still hosted in the US and about 95% of players should be improved. But there is no way it has increased by over a 100ms unless your internet has been horrible.
Could you show the output when running /ping ?
I'll try but it seems to be improving from 400+ to 200- so I guess that's an Improvement. I'm sorry if I'm being a nuisance to you but I get random pings since last week. All of them were 150+ (the worst being 821ms) I also think that the 821ms showup was a glitch because on when an AU friend connects he gets at most 400ms so that is strange
Your situation is understandable because you might have moved abit farther from the host but when I used to do /ping in the older months I get at highest 60ms
No, it's 920ms in any game I play. I used to have Xfinity but they don't serve broadband high speed in our area so I have satellite. Does any one know a satellite internet provider with sufficient speed for games like Counter Strike??
I don't know any type of satellites but I've been using an amazing AT&T U-Verse for internet and it has been amazing, which brings us back to why it is strange for me to get 100+ ping on this server without bad internet.
U-Verse is gr8 idk why you would have ping under 50 tbh

I finally got a /ping and i swear i didn't edit or misuse this. I found it and i was STUNNED.
