I was wondering if anyone else thought it might be a good idea to make Mcmmo leveling a lot quicker? As of now it seems slow but it would make pvp more interesting and make the playing field more even between donators and regular players. Just a thought.

Meh, it is good. Your idea is good, but...the point of snapcraft is to make the fun last longer though.

How are you able to farm that?
Depending on what servers you play to grind out XP:
Factions: Grind out the MobFarm, located NorthWest of spawn.
Skyblock: Try profit shops or (sneakily ;-)) try to get inside a XP grinder by going into a island warp.
Survival: Try going to different /pwarps and grinding out XP there :)
Prison: Grind by mining a bunch of ores.

I personally think the MCMMO is fine as is because it actually makes you work for it. I see it as if you strive for it, you will indeed increase your MCMMO skill but if you are just doing it for a short period of time, you won't get anything out of it (besides the drops of the mobs or $ given to out by profit shops (if you go to them)) :-P.

if anything we could turn it down mcmmo is very stong for the people willing to spend all the time grinding to get a high level but it is good where its at atm

You don't know what you're talking about. I can't see you on ./mctop axes 1-5 either, doesn't look as if you've gone though this process yourself.

In reality from an experienced player with close to 2k axes, I'd say it's incredulously difficult to lvl up after 500ish. In order to level up I need to get 3.2m xp. Killing a cave spider gives you 60xp, killing blaze gives you about 120xp I think. That means grinding each level requires killing around 50k+ cave spiders. To put this in to context I spoke to Kevin a while ago and he told me he had killed 25k blazes according to his mc statistics. Spoke to a ton of people he had killed the most mobs out of the people I spoke to and it took him a very long time, considering he found this in statistics.

This means that 10 more mcmmo levels at 1.8k axes would need 32m xp or to kill 500k cave spider mobs. This kind of grinding is unreasonable, when approaching lvl 1k if I remember correctly I think I needed around 700-800k xp for each level up. So, your first statement is false people can not "farm" level 1000 axes, spoken to most of the players on ./f top axes, none of them have got to their 1k or 1k+ axes without credits. The way people level up mcmmo skills is by buying credits from the store and from each other.

The problem here is the huge exponential growth of the amounts of xp needed to lvl up, that needs to change this map, changing it this map would mean people who donated for their mcmmo under the conditions where getting to 1k in a mcmmo lvl was unobtainable within reason would have to compete with people who could obtain it reasonably. It should be changed next map, or at the very least introduce ways of getting credits without somebody having to donate at some point.

Does Mcmmo increase your tool skill? (e.g. breaking blocks faster, more durability...)

Maybe... but only a little bit.

I think that as of now, if you work hard, put the time and effort into the game/server, you get a strong edge against others. I feel as if we changed it to much things like this would become unbalanced; anyone else agree with this?

No, not that I am aware of. Mcmmo for tools is "Breaking" things faster, but in a controlled amount of time. For example, the "Super Breaker" ability only works for several seconds at level 30. Other skills, such as "Tree Feller", allows for much larger trees/heaps of wood to be removed at once.

Oh, that makes sense now, thanks.
