We are so excited to announce the release of our brand-new gamemode!
This is called PotPvP.
Experience something unique for Snapcraft.
A different form of KitPvP, and bringing together loved features from a variety of servers into one place, to offer a truly brilliant experience!
Embrace new features, and returning features for Snapcraft.
We’ve carefully picked and shaped the gameplay to offer one truly magical experience for KitPvP fans from all over the Minecraft Community.
With regular updates, resets, changes based on community feedback, and a competitive style, there is no need to look elsewhere!

Gameplay features
The following are the most important features of PotPvP, make sure to read it all, they are brilliant and you don’t want to miss it!
What is PotPvP?PotPvP is a brand new 1.8 PvP gamemode coming to Snapcraft. After the results of the poll we have seen people are more interested in a new 1.8 gamemode, so we have decided to give it a go and are introducing PotPvP at Snapcraft.
PotPvP is a variant of KitPvP, with different features, different core gameplay mechanics, a different map style, and much more.
The main way to fight is by carefully using health potions to sustain your health during the fight.
However, there are still golden apples and enchanted golden apples, but these are premium, much rarer, and more expensive.
When you jump down into the PvP Arena, your inventory will automatically and magically fill itself with Splash Potions of Healing II.
This will occur even if you go back to /spawn, and then jump down within the same life!
Alternatively, kill your opponent and use their loot to refill your missing potions and carry on the scrap!
We hope that this change will encourage a different style of fighting, and also give new players a better chance to compete against the rest of the playerbase due to having potions widely accessible and easy to use.
Saying goodbye to Factions
Starting with this new gamemode release we will say our goodbyes to the Factions gamemode on Snapcraft.
Factions will be replaced by the new PotPvP gamemode, based on Minecraft version 1.8.
This decision was made in the best interest of our community, as we noticed that Factions did not perform as well as we had hoped. We tried running a competitive map for two seasons, but Snapcraft didn't seem to be the right place for it. To ensure that players do not lose any purchases made, all ranks that you currently have in Factions will be transferred to the new PotPvP gamemode.

Brand new map!As PotPvP will have different features we have made a brand new map for it.
The map will be 185x185 and will feature a sky spawn, flat surface and a cave system below it.
The map is more flat than the maps you know at KitPvP, allowing for more constant action and better fights against players and gangs.

Bow Boosting!Yep, bow boosting is here for PotPvP!
Experience a KitPvP-styled gamemode with the joy of being able to bow boost!
A very popular mechanic within the PvP Community, and we’ve wanted to bring it onto Snapcraft for so long, and this new gamemode allows us to just do that!
Minigames!Compete in brand new Minigames against the rest of the player base and earn yourself some unique and vital rewards to get yourself to the top!
We are starting with 4 brand-new Minigames for you to play.
You can use /minigames for more information on these.
They are minigames that are super fun to play but also bring that competitive edge to the server.
Hop in to one of these minigame to earn great rewards if you end up as a winner!
The 4 minigames which are being added are:
- One in Quiver
- Sumo
- Free for All
- Spleef
Fishing!We’re throwing it back in time with our Fish! You want caught fish to be in ‘length’ and ‘rarity’? Better load up play.snapcraft.net then! Fish used to be caught this way on our KitPvP Server, and know it’s been talked about within the community ever since. With the introduction of PotPvP, we thought it would be the perfect change and offer a different to the norm!
Fish which are caught will have a ‘size in CM’ and also a rarity. Yep, you guessed it, the bigger and rarer the fish, the more money it will be worth! Trade the fish to our Fisherman Merchant and get yourself some money to spend on vital items! Careful for players lurking, and wanting to capitalise on your hard work!
But that’s not all! There will be ‘special fish’ which have a low chance of being caught. Special fish can be used by the player, by simply trite clicking, granting the player bonuses and buffs for a limited time. Each fish will be single use, so make sure you use it smartly and do not waste it!
You can view all of the Special Fish which are going to be added below, and what they do:
- Angelfish: Speed 2 and Jump Boost 3 for 5 minutes
- Grouper: Regeneration 3 and resistance 1 25 seconds.
- Firefish: Fire Resistance for 10 minutes
- Hammerhead: Deal 5% extra damage for 1 minute
- Snapper: Deal 5 extra durability damage for 1 minute.
- Viperfish: Take 5% less damage for 1 minute.
- Pike: Gain a 10% EXP Boost for 30 seconds.
We hope that our players will enjoy the New (old) fishing system, with it bringing a new dimension to our PotPvP Gamemode.
Skills Tree!
Carrying on the theme of new features, introducing the SkllsTree! You can now unlock skills to make yourself even more OP within our PotPvP server.
You can use /skills to view the tree, and all of the potential perks/benefits.
You will need to earn stars to make your way to the top of the tree!
Stars can be obtained through loads of different ways throughout your journey. Earn them through: Event Lootcrates, Lootmobs, Crates, Envoys and much more!
Can you make it to the top of the three and reap the rewards before the end of the season?
Note: the Skills Tree will reset when the PotPvP Gamemode resets.
Events!
With PotPvP, we have aimed to introduce some unique and different events, keeping a very full schedule so that there is always something to be online for, and battle over!
We have 7 events on the schedule, with varying start times.
We strongly encourage you to use /events regularly to look at the schedule. You are also able to find detailed information about what the event is, and what epic rewards can be obtained.
All of the events are listed below:
Emerald FrenzyBegin with 50 Emeralds, defeat your opponents in an epic battle within the PvP Zone and steal all .of their Emeralds! Event lasts for 10 minutes.
Slay The BeastDefeat the mighty creature that spawns within the PvP Zone! Deal as much damage as you can, to be in with a chance to take away the rewards! The location of the beast will be posted in chat, head there quick and start dealing damage!
Fishing ContestReel in the largest fish with any fishing rod to earn the largest prize! You are able to capture fish wherever there is water inside the PvP Zone. Search around for the most efficient and safest spots!
HardpointCapture the Hardpoint, which will rotate between 5 different locations. The coordinates will be posted into chat each time the zone moves. Stand in this area alone to unlock top-tier loot for your gang!
EnvoysEnvoys will fall from the sky, simply sprint into the PvP Arena and collect them before others do!
KoTHStand on the capture zone, fend off the enemy without being knocked off for 7 minutes and earn some epic rewards to enhance your experience.
StrongholdThe biggest Event! Be ready when the Stronghold opens their gates! You can use /warp stronghold to get there, and battle for the epic KoTH. You may only go there once per account. Keep Inventory is ENABLED, so if you die, your loot will be safe! Phew.
Duels!
Fight against other players using /duels. You can battle friends, or enemies.
Whether it’s for fun, or you’re wanting to wager cash, there has never been an easier way for a fair and simple 1v1.
There are a variety of kits to choose from, with the server kits being in there, and also custom ones which are found on your favourite server!
You can use /duel invite <player> for a 1v1 with no money wager, or
/duel invite <player> <wager> if you wish to fight against someone for money.
Challenges!Complete a variety of daily challenges to be rewarded with epic items and currencies to boost your PotPvP account! You can visit the NPC, or use /challenges to navigate an easy to use GUI whereby you are able to select 1 challenge at a time to complete. You will have until the server resets (which is when the challenges reset for the day) to ensure you complete the task. As a default player, there are 3 challenges you can complete each day for free to get an extra boost.
If you’re a permanent rank on the server, you will have the option of up to 5 challenges to complete each day!
The extra challenges will be premium, and therefore if completed will yield some extra rewards!
Special Weapons!
We felt as though the current custom weapons on KitPvP were getting a bit stale, and some of their abilities were a bit outdated.
Therefore, we have spent some time fine tuning their abilities for PotPvP, as well as adding two completely brand new custom weapons for our players to enjoy.
The following weapons have been added to the game:
Axes:Maul
Deal 5.0% more damage to enemies holding swords
Claw
Deal 10.0% more durability damage to enemies 3)
Hammer
Deal 10.0% more damage to enemies
Deal 5.0% more durability damage to enemies
Bloodaxe
Deal 10.0% more damage to enemies
Deal 10.0% more damage to enemies in the stronghold

5.0% chance to string lightning on the players you hit
Skullsplitter
Deal 5.0% more damage to enemies 3.0% chance to give Poison 1.0 to your enemies
Doomblade
Deal 5.0% more damage to enemies holding axes
Deal 10.0% more durability damage to enemies
Greatsword
Deal 10.0% more damage to enemies
Deal 5.0% more durability damage to enemies
Deal 5.0% more damage to enemies when on KOTHs
Bows:Fireshot
Deal 5.0% more damage to enemies on fire
Galeshot
Deal 10.0% more durability damage to enemies
5.0% chance to give Wither 1.0 to your enemies
Soulstring
Deal 10.0% more damage to enemies while holding axes
Bow is Immune to Durability Damage

Deal 10.0% more damage to enemies holding swords
5.0% chance to give Poison 1.0 to your enemies
5.0% chance to deal double damage
Special Sets!Suit up with the choice of 7 custom armour sets!
Each armour set offers a unique boost, and all 4 pieces must be worn to give you the buff. This has to be from the same armour set, so it’s crucial that all your pieces are from the same set.
You can combine these special sets with your regular armour, to give them enchantments and make you the ultimate warrior!
Rogue Special Set:
Gain 1.0 extra heart
Immune to poison
Fisherman Special Set:
Your fishing rods are immune to durability damage
Boosts your money in Fish Merchant by 10%
Phoenix Special Set:
Immune to fire damage
Gladiator Special Set:
Deal 5.0% more damage to enemies
Receive 5.0% less damage from enemies
Grind Special Set:
Boosts the loot from lucky blocks by 10%
Boosts the loot from loot mobs by 10%
Hydra Special Set:
Receive 10.0% less damage when in water
Permanent Haste II while in water
Warrior Special Set:
Deal 5.0% more durability damage to enemies
Custom Enchants!We love custom enchantments on Snapcraft, and with the addition of PotPvP, this is no different!
We want to ensure that all our enchantments are balanced, and do not provide an overwhelming advantage for players, but still giving that slight edge so that there is always something to be working towards! We have made enchanting generally harder, with it being more difficult to get Experience, and capping the Enchantment tables at level 26, so you can only obtain Protection 3.
This will also mean it’s harder to obtain high level custom enchantments, and means you will have to combine items to get the best loot!

Loot MobsTake a break from killing other players, and focus your efforts on fighting some friendly mobs! They will not attack you, but you still slaughter them. Sounds perfect, right?
These mobs have been added all around the map.
Lootmobs spawn often, so make sure to keep an eye out!.
There are over 100 unique rewards that can be obtained from killing these lootmobs!
Lucky BlocksLucky Blocks are special items blocks all over the map. These will spawn at all times, scattered across various locations.
These blocks give you different rewards that can make your equipment better.
The rewards depend on the tier of the Lucky Block—the higher the tier, the better the rewards.
Lucky Blocks can only be seen when you are close to them.
This makes finding them a surprise and encourages you to move around the map more.
Inside these blocks, you might find weapons, armor, or power-ups that can help you in battle.
Finding higher-tier blocks is especially good because they have better items.
Outposts!There will be 4 outposts that your Gang is able to capture to give you an advantage.
Each outpost will provide a unique bonus to all of your gang members. It is crucial that you capture them for yourselves, and stop the other gangs from having a chance to capture it!

- Combat Outpost: Deal 5% more damage and receive 5% less
- Lucky Outpost: 2x luckyblock loot
- Fish Outpost: 2x Fishing rewards
- Hunger Outpost: No hunger loss

Crates!Crates are a vital part of any Gamemode, and it’s no different on PotPvP.
Our crates are rammed full with juicy, must have rewards for you to get your hands on. Luckily though, you can obtain crate keys in a multitude of ways, so there is always something to be doing. You can look inside of the crates at /warp crates for examples of things you can do to obtain them.
You can see all of our crates below:
- Vote: Obtain by using /vote, or from the vote party.
- Slayer: Obtain from killing other players, lootmobs, crates, event lootcrates and envoys.
- Epic: Obtain from /goldshop, crates, event lootcrates, lootmobs and envoys
- Legendary: Obtain from /goldship, epic crate and Stronghold Lootcrate.
- Seasonal: Obtain from /goldshop, legendary crate and Stronghold Lootcrate.
Gangs and PayoutsBeing apart of a gang is vital, you will need a team to defeat the rest of the competition. Gangs are a fun and exciting way to play and dominate with friends. There are so many customization choices with gangs, enabling/disabling friendly fire, setting rally points and targets and so much more. You can view the full list of commands with /gang help.
The earn payouts, you must earn gang points. Just like KitPvP, there are loads of ways your gang can earn gang points here on PotPvP. You can see the full list below:
- Killing a Lootmob: 1 point.
- Killing a Player: 3 points (does not always give, to avoid boosting).
- Collecting an envoy chest: 20 points per envoy.
- Events: Use /event.
- A death: -1 point.
You can view the top gangs on the server with /g top. The /g top leaderboard will reset weekly, but total points are tracked.
You can do /payouts to view what is available for you to earn! There are big rewards to play for!
...and much more!- The server shop can be accessed with /shop to purchase useful items.
- Enchantment tables are capped at level 26, meaning you can only get Protection 3. You will need to use an anvil to combine in-order to get Protection 4.
- There are 5 ranks, their permissions can be viewed on the website. Can use /kit in-game to view all of the kits.
- Playtimerewards can be earned just by being online, use /playtimerewards.
- Sit in the AFK Pool at /warp afk to earn free rewards! Every 30 minutes will earn you an AFK Lootcrate.
- Set bounties on your opponents, or kill someone with a bounty to earn a money reward. Use /bounties.
- Conflip has been added. There is a 0% tax. Use /cf.
- Kill enemies without dying to earn a killstreak. View the rewards with /killstreak.
- Every 10 minutes, a new target will be selected. Kill the target within 1 minute to earn $500. Or, if you are the target, survive the 1 minute and earn yourself $500.
- Easily send items with /maildelivery, (/gift). Packages expire in 7 days if not claimed and will be deleted.
- Brand new leaderboards at spawn. Use /warp leaderboards.
- Playervaults are used for storage. Each rank has a different amount of playervaults. Use /pv to store your items safely.
- Standard Auctionhouse plugin. Use /ah or /ah help if you need assistance.
- Standard Trade plugin. Use /trade to trade items between yourselves.
- A new itemfilter has been added.
- There are 7 stat track tokens to earn and use.
- You will get 1 vote key and $25 per vote. 100 votes of the server will give a vote key from the vote party.
- You will get $10 per kill, and this will decrease if you kill the same player over and over to reduce boosting.
- Health of the player is displayed above their character model.
- Clear lag will occur every 5 minutes and there will be a chat message warning with this.
- There are easy to navigate menus to view all of our features. They are: /itemsmenu, /weapons, /sets, /stattracks, /events, /minigames, /warps, /payouts.
