    Leaf decay

    So I have planted my own trees and now after chopping them down its just a roof of leaves, why is it that leaves don't decay? This makes tree farming so tedious. I kinda understand if the big tree in the plot would lose the leaves, but placed leaves (and with world edit etc) don't decay at all.
