McMMO Levels?

Trying to figure out all the different levels and what they do but I can't seem to find a good guide. If anyone would be kind enough to explain how it works. My thought is like as your mining skill improves you mine faster. Or am I thinking correctly on this. Any help is appreciated.

For info about any of the mcMMO skills you can simply type /skillname for example /mining
