Spawn Trapping

Is it allowed on survival because i saw 2 ranked people doing it.

I think he means luring. But if you do teleport to someone and they trap you in a protected area, you can just do /spawn (or /home if you set one).

A lot of times, from personal experience and actually doing it- it's practically instant death.

Hmm.. That's never happened to me before so I didn't know . But just as a precaution, just go without anything on you (or just don't teleport to anyone you don't know). But again, this has never happened to me so I wouldn't really know.
