How do you sprint?

I use CTRL unless I'm too lazy to move my pinky, then I'll just double tap.

I've been holding down Ctrl this entire time and still do it. A few years ago I was playing on an rpg server and I needed help wit ha certain ladder jump because my double tapping of W just wasn't cutting it, and a really friendly player told me about the "Sprint button". I've been using Ctrl since because I just got used to it and it works for me.

Without w you're not walking and therefore not sprinting xD

I mostly use CTRL w to sprint, but sometimes when pvping I use double w...

I use shift to sprint. F to f5 and lcontrol to shift. Works for me

I used to double tap to sprint, but after using ctrl it's hard to go back. From my experience (pvp-wise) ctrl is much more effective and is better in pretty much all pvp scenarios.

I use double w to sprint. Always have. Never tried the other way tbh. Will give it a go today.

I use R to sprint but in survival situations if your hunger bar is low the sprint wont work.
