Tell the plot owner to do '/plot trust <username of player>'

You can allow her to build on your plot anytime. But I suggest both have neighbor plot more easier to get each other build anytime. That what i doing with my partner in game.

If the plots around hers isn't claimed then you can claim one by doing /plot claim. And for you to build on your gf's plot she has to either /plot add or /plot trust you. (By trusting you to the plot, you're allowed to build when she's offline)
