Spawning Wither Skelleton

Hello,

I Just recently made a nether portal on my Island.
A few times i see people who farm wither skelleton for their skulls, so i was wondering how do you get wither skelletons to spawn?

Normally they only spawn in a fortress, but because you are on a island there is no fortress..

Can some 1 help me find out how they spawn?

You get wither skeletons by placing a normal skeleton spawner/spawning normal skeletons in the nether.

Oh really? So if i buy a skelleton spawner, and place it in the nether ( no mather what blocks) it will spawn nether skelletons instead

I placed a Skeleton Spawner in the Nether, but only regular Skeleton are spawning. Do I have to place it on top of one tower? Did something change, like a new server rule? I need Wither Skeleton to start spawning in a farm.
