Farming and Crops

I am having issues placing crops in Factions. I have claimed the territory and hoed the dirt but the seeds pop up even though there is a water source next to it. Please help. Thank you for your time.

Try placing some torches around the area and enough room for the crops to grow and it should be good to go.

It is the same problem with my farm. I bought the 8 glowstones for just $40 or $50 not sure. I put those top of crops and my crops actually growing.
