My disappearing horses

For some reason, when I go to spawn my for a bit, upon returning to my home I find that my horses (of which I have two) are gone. Sometimes only one may be gone, sometimes both, and even neither. They will return after maybe a minute or two, without their lead (which still appears attached to the fence post) but in the rough position from which they left.

Anyone else getting this? It's just a bit weird lol

visual glitches like that are often the result of you having a slow internet, an outdated java, graphics card problems, and even a bad connection.
If it is a glitch that is occurring in game others might report that they have it as well. But I have 3 horses created from apples and they are just fine every time I go to my house.
