banned fore griefing

Hello i was banned fore griefing and i griefde him because he combat trapped me so i could nog escape and i could hit him so thats why i griefed him but then i got banned fore 6 hours but 10 minuts later i got banned fore 3 days can someon explain me why i got first 3 hours and 10 minuts later 3 days
