Are Name Changes supported?

I am considering changing my name and I saw an old thread saying that ZombieV didn't support UUID, that was in 2015, has it changed? If not what do I lose. Best regards,

If you create another account, it is basically starting Snapcraft again.
But if you change your IGN, you won't lose anything.
