Soemone pls help

So I died from suffocation due to the laggy servers. I had set a faction and when I did /home it always worked. When I died and was out at spawn it didn't it kept putting me back to spawn. what do I do to get back their and is there anything I can do to get all my loot back?

If you set your home inside a block you’ll get teleported back to spawn to prevent glitching. And we also cannot replace your items.
