Hello all, I'm sure we all know that at sometime soon (hopefully) factions will reset, depending on how fast the staff get everything finalized during this map. Over the course of this long map I've seen many things change, removed, and added, and I want to give my own opinion on things that can be changed. I'll keep them short and simple, and this isn't a thread where I want you to reply saying "thanks for the ideas". If you disagree with any ideas reply to them and explain why, and tell me which ones you like, and how they could be better. Anyways, here goes:
(keep in mind these ideas are all for NEXT MAP, not current)

1. I think the /f top system needs to be changed next map, today Marten made golem spawners 200k instead of 2 mil, which is good since the next spawner in value is creeper, which are only 150k value. To have a gap of 150k to 2 mil was ridiculous, and making the golem spawners 200k is the first step in making the f top system better. Next map obsidian and sponge should also be looked at, I think they should be completely removed from f top value, as their purpose is to protect your valuable things, not give you value (if you invest in obsidian and sponge, making that all your faction value, no ones going to be able to raid it because, well, its obsidian and sponge, which makes raiding very lame). I think the value should only come from things such as hoppers, beacons, diamond blocks, spawners, diamonds in chests, and maybe even emeralds since they can't be farmed from spawners. DO NOT add player balance to faction value, as it can't be raided and would be the same issue as with the obby and sponge.

2. Adding on to the /f top system, I think it would be cool if Surtur and Reaper dropped a head or trophy that add a certain amount to your faction value when you place them. Yes, I know Surtur drops a wither skull, maybe he can drop something else as a trophy. Speaking of wither skulls, my next point...

3. ...Snapcraft is one of the few servers to still have withers enabled, which is something I like as it reminds me of the older faction servers. I don't think wither skulls should be added back to the shop, as it would make them way too plentiful. I do, however, think having surtur drop them isn't enough. They should be added as koth loot or maybe loot from rare keys or reaper keys.

4. Koth is another thing I wanted to talk about, the loot is ok but I don't think it's good enough to make people want to fight over it. Koth should give around 100k to the victor, and maybe higher end spawners such as IG, creeper, blaze, pigman, etc. Also pieces of god gear should be loot you can get as well. My point is, make the koth loot something that the players really want to fight over.

5. My next issue is with spawners, first of all the drop chance for spawners is WAY too low, I once cegged 16 creeper spawners and didn't get 1... like really? Also I think more spawners should be added for next map, such as enderman, guardian would be cool tbh, bat spawners, etc. Another thing is the animals that spawn from the spawners, I've seen bases use animal spawners as a decoration but it's kinda lame. The animals don't even move around or anything, they just... sit there. I've never seen that on a server but maybe it has to do with the mob stacking. If theres a way to have the mobs stack but the "stacks" are still able to move around like a normal animal then it would be a small change that I'm sure lots of players would like. Last but not least please god remove the spawners from the buycraft store. No one is going to pay irl money for the spawners, it's a waste of time. Instead add them to keys, and the /shop in game. The /shop in game already has some spawners, and while they are overpriced I think that's fine since it balances out people buying tons of them. The higher end spawners should be added to /shop as well (such as Iron golems), just make them overpriced like the others. I'll talk more about spawners and keys in the next point.

6. The loot from keys on this server isn't that bad, rare keys, surtur, and reaper keys are pretty decent. I do think common keys and uncommon keys need a rework, as I see most people who throw the common keys on the ground because they would rather do that then waste time going to spawn to use them. Seriously, change the common keys. I've gotten like 16 cobblestone from one, like tf? Also legendary keys should be a little better then what they are. ALSO spawners should be added more throughout the keys, maybe even add a pig spawner as a 1% change from a common key, so that they are at least worth something.

7. Spawner picks are a tool that lots of people need on this server, please make them more common as key loot, and I forget if they are a koth reward but if they aren't please add them. Having to make people buy them from the buycraft store if they want to move their spawners isn't that great. Adding them to /enchant would be cool as well, it can turn your pick into a one time use and can cost in game money rather then enchant tokens.

8. Spawn is much too big imo, and can be made much smaller while still keeping everything it has. For next map I think a spawn that is smaller would be much better, while also having some more things such as a lottery/gambling building (not sure if this server has that already lol). A smaller warzone with much closer koth areas would be nice as well, there can be a koth in each cardinal direction from spawn, making it easier for noobs to find.

9. Please fix cannoning, I know your working on it but this is just a reminder not to forget about cannoning xD. I don't cannon much but from what I've heard cannons that use a "hammer" don't seem to work.

10. Change the faction map back, I'm not sure what the reason for changing the look of the faction map was, except that you don't want people going back into their logs to look at the f map (since the notepad can't recognize the symbols that it now uses, unless if you use notepad++, idk). Also this new f map doesn't show directions on it, this simply makes things unnecessarily difficult.

11. (my personal fun idea) - This idea is kind of a stretch, but I was on a different faction server, won't say the name, and it had a plugin where if you go to the pvp arena, there's lakes scattered about that you can fish in to rarely get loot, and that seemed to be what the players on that server did the most. There were ALWAYS people there fishing, meaning it's something fun to do when your bored, and keeps the economy and raiding going as the loot could be spawners (on that server you could get IGs, I wouldn't want that on here but I think rarely getting a zombie spawner or something would be cool). Of course, since it would be in a pvp arena, you would have to be careful since you could get jumped at any time. That server had the pvp arena styled as an ice theme, the pvp arena next map for this server would most likely be the end. Maybe add "void" pools that you could fish in, and add some more structures to the end arena to spice it up a bit.

Last but not least please make it so donators can't do the disguise/invis potion trick, it's LAME.

agree to this though, /d with invis actually causes more problems than some major bugs.

Yeah, they should also make the bedrock flat because it is annoying to cannon and build bases with bedrock reaching as high as y 7.

A lot of good suggestions. Another one I had was having the faction name, and their relationship to your faction with the players name tag so that you can more easily recognise allies and enemies.
So e.g. if you were allied with Lords. It would have Lords in purple as well as the player name

As for the casino/betting suggestion, I think that maybe bringing back the /lottery system from SC 1 would be cool. This basically was, as the name suggests, an in-game lottery where people could buy tickets using /lottery buy (amount of tickets). The lottery timer would begin whenever more than two or three people buy tickets, and at the end of the timer, a person at random would win the entire pot. For example, if Z bought 10 tickets (for $100 a ticket for example), X bought 8, and Y bought 2, Z would have a 50% chance of winning $2000 (half of which is his money) X would have a 40% chance of winning, and Y would have a 10% chance of winning. Regardless of how many tickets you buy, the pot stays the same like a normal lottery. The price per ticket should be a moderate amount, maybe $500 or $1000, and there would definitely need to be a maximum amount of tickets you could buy so certain faction oligarchs can't buy 50,000 tickets (resulting in something like a 99.8% chance of winning) and steal money from the less wealthy players.
