Are villager mechanics the same as single player?

Are the villager mechanics the same as single player because on sky block I've built a villager breeder and they wont breed.

Please help....

Maybe skyblock don't provide that ability? I don't play skyblock thought.

I'm not sure if they're the same but you can get a ton of villager-eggs from vote crates.
