Being Extremely Mean?

Alright, my favorite game is earthgames, but today I ran into this player name assorts who was being extremely mean. If you kill him or doing anything to assorts he'll call you something really rude. He had full diamond armor today and I killed him. He said to me "You're gay". I told him there is nothing wrong with being gay. He said back "You carry aids". Assorts also started telling other people "I hope your dog dies" or "What a tryhard" and even "Go kill yourself". What I extremely hate about what he said was "You can't do anything because you're just a non rank and I'm a vip". He also accused me of cheating which I know I'm not and I've also done a video of what I have in my mods folder. I've also read which mods are allowed. This is not a report because I have no evidence what so ever. This is just an example of people who I see. I'm not making this thread to talk about this player, but I have a question. Let's say I run into someone like this player, being extremely mean, calling people bad names, and just not caring about any person they hurt. And I report this player. Will they get muted? Or warned? Or will nothing happen? I've tried searching for this answer on the forum. Usually on other servers they'll just give a "warning" to a player who's done this. But I really think they should just be muted for a day because warning them won't do anything most of the time. I usually try shutting players done who've done this telling them that they're verbally bullying people. Any ways I'd like to know, what do you do with these people? So next time I can actually do something. Also have you encountered someone like this?

The player usually gets warned first, (as much as I know) and if they don't stop they'll get muted. Just report the player, or ask a staff member to come on and they'll take care of it as much as they can.

And EG is pretty much a rage game, so you meet lots of these kind of people. Sadly.

When you report someone like this, a "one line" evidence will most likely be a warning towards the accused player. However, if you get enough proof of them saying these things, I believe a mute will occur.
I hope staff can help you out better, as they know how to handle these things.

EDIT: When you see someone doing those things in chat, screenshots can be enough, meaning you don't need to record that.

I know I play with 12 yr olds XD but it's stupid because they should learn what they're doing to other people.

I really like this server. I've been playing on this server for about 3 years. Before they shutdown eg to update everything and zombie z. Also I see moderators everywhere and helpers. Which is good. I remember when I started noticing hack in eg it was all taken care of in a year. It's now rare to see hacks in eg now.

Yeah ikr there's obviously a problem with them for them to act that way. Either that or they have no friends and they do weird things for humor but I've gotten used to those ppl over the years

I really don't care what they say to me, but no one really does anything. All you do is ignore them but they'll still do it.

In future, if you see this happening again, please may you report the player with screenshot proof (uploading it to imgur or gyazo etc) (also you can go back in your logs in your minecraft folder to find the player being mean yesterday). Ha thanks! I know you run into these people all the time. I was just wondering what happens to these people I forgot to screen shot the person also. That's why I stated it was not a report I'll also go look for the person in my log!

Player has been dealt with. As said, just make a report and then it can be dealt with. We are aware of players swearing in all the servers, but staff can't be in everything.

Means that there is no need to make a thread next time- just a support ticket.
