Pending Can we please bring back the old way to colour and font text on signs

The I believe 1.17 update with colouring the text on signs with dye is great but I dont see why the old style had to go? I would like if we could use bold, italic, underline, colour certain words or letters or ALL and etc. Its nice for the appearance and to make certain stuff stand out and expressed. small simple addon for everyone. Also sorry for that mess above had to show what i was talking about

The old style hasn't been available to the public before, meaning the 1.17 coloured signs is actually a new feature for the server itself. However, I do agree that it could be cool for the general public to be able to use these colour codes on signs.
