Discord Free For All?

I have been on Discord lately and I have noticed that in large part it seems to be a free for all.
There are rules on Discord and they are not there to kill a good time they actually serve to protect the users who go there.

Now, I am not trying to be a crybaby about any of this. But dang! Have some dignity in your actions people. I don't care if your immature at least follow some basic rules. A lack of self control is not cool no matter how old you are.

Some of the things I have personally seen:
-Actual use of the F word.
-Sexual Orientation references (this is a video game, not a dating site)
-Sexual remarks
-Vulgar comments
-shameless spam
-Recruiting for other servers.
-Insults that borderline on criminal
-Images with gang signs and gang references
-Reference to the use of guns and illegal drugs
-links to sites that are known to have underage smut

One of my major concerns with this is Snapcrafts reporting system. Currently the only way to report this stuff is to message staff and hope they see it as well. If you do a player report here, a lot of Discord users use a different screen name.

Can everyone please work with the staff to help report and block these bozos before things like this get out of hand? Come on people were supposed to be a community here.

I've seen with other communities they have a special role called 'Discord Police' or 'Discord Moderator' or 'Discord Helper' because the staff have a lot to do on the server, the discord MAY not be their main priority. But fundamentally, yes. I agree with what jasonstover9 is saying.

Thank you @dotMana I am definately not trying to be Captain kill joy, or a doormat or any other name for it, and I apreciate that you state you agree (I was alone on this one for a while there). We are a community and we are supposed to watch out for those who would want to ruin our community. There are a lot of mods who do a great job, but sadly yes, they cant be everywhere all at once.

Lol. There's no proof within that reasoning. This server is here for the enjoyment for the players. Sure there is some unfair players but, that's what staff are for. I'm sure you couldn't run a better server without a lot of $$ so yes they do care a lot about money..because that's what makes the server run every...single.. month .

I agree with what @dotMana might be suggesting. They should hire/add a new staff rank called a Discord-Mod which is like a chat mod but, for discord. This will improve/reduce the amount of rules on discord with staff knowing.
