First the combat system. So Hypixel added the prototype lobby, and with that many players found that the combat system was soo much better. Hypixel is one of the most popular servers, but its combat system has been terrible. Now it is soo much better. So this is why im suggesting snapcraft do the same. Anyone who has played a server with an actual good combat system, knows that snapcrafts combat system sucks. Before you say that such a little thing shouldnt even be suggested for the staff/devs to do, then why did hypixel do it? Now Hypixel has one of if not the biggest player base right now. With tons of minigames and they took the time to upgrade their combat system when they could do alot more other stuff. If your gonna hate then just leave because i already know one person who is going to hate.

Now why a dueling system you may ask. Well this is mainly for kitpvp cause other games are team based. Almost everyone should already know what i mean by 'dueling'. But how would they get into a duel? Well just like any other practice server with / duel ( players ). Then they choose the map and what they choose to fight with. It could be gapple, no debuff, debuff or just a kit from kitpvp with speed potions and/or heal potions or just the plain kit with no potion affects.

And now all the hate comes in with staff and players saying that we could just go on a practice server. Well this means that the staff dont really care about actually improving their server.

So I read through your whole thread and thus I'm giving my 2 cents.
1. The combat is currently being worked on. An anticheat was released to both EarthGames and Lbb earlier TODAY, which atleast shows that progress is being made. The new anticheat is already a huge step up from the last one and it'll (hopefully) only get better.
2. There is currently a system with guilds with /fight I believe, but they don't have the maps built/set up. It's more of a "it takes time" type of thing I believe and hopefully it gets worked out soon.
