You're wrong haste makes you move any tool or weapon faster. Watch a bit of YouTube and Ull know

lol okay then it may change how fast the animation is on the sword but does not change the timer on how fast people take damage so it make no difference in pvp. you can use haste 100 and it will make no change unless you are mining or digging

On some servers haste is made for pvp and it makes your hand move faster which means more chance of you hitting the person

Tested and confirmed, the rate at which you take damage is hard coded as far as I'm concerned. And cannot be changed.

You can only take a certain Amoy if hit per second, so having a haste effect just gives you a better chance if landing all those hits. If you have amazing aim, with a haste beacon, the person who you're trying to kill, has almost no chance
