Factions should reset, anybody who made /f top should get an f top payout. Because nobody wants to try to make the top because the top faction is 47mil value and the second top faction is 17mil. That is a huge gap. That is very hard to beat. Royhal (Top value player) has a value of over 100million. That cant be beat. That's why if factions resets it will bring in new players and give everybody an equal playing field once more.

I like the idea of a factions reset but the idea is highly doubtful of happening since if you bought crate keys, tokens ect. Then you'd lose it all, so this is a very difficult decision I think.

I don't understand why that is a good reason for a reset. You want everyone to start over just because the top player and factions are rich...?
How would you guarantee that the competition will last for a long time after a reset?

If you think a server should reset because of the wealth gap between players, literally all gamemodes with economy need to reset. Also, the most recently resetted server is factions.

I think you need better reasons for factions to reset. Most importantly, there are other gamemodes that have not gotten reworked for several years and are severely outdated. Those need to be reset before factions.

That happens and I don't think it is a big deal because it is just a video game. It will bring in more players less bots

Everyone voting no probably doesn't even play factions.

The simple fact is this map has gone on way too long, over a year. It's been time for a reset, doesn't matter if your against it.

Yes factions probably does need a reset but having a new map, creating new things for the next reset takes time as they also work with resetting other gamemodes. Unless you’re wanting just everything reset and keep the current map, don’t think reset will happen too soon.

if they made it just a vanilla map with a spawn and 4 outposts that would be great still

A few things (from someone who has played factions for almost 6 years exclusively)
Resets are a part of the natural process. Yes it is aggravating when you lose all of your bought keys, enchant/mcmmo levels, and spawners. I myself have bought many small purchases for enchant tokens, but I had my time with them during this map and even earned enough money to buy some more IRLs myself from winning duels with my enchanted gear! (It was almost like an investment...)
As for the economy, as soon as the reset happens (which is only a matter of time), people like Royhal (100 mil+), Avokaii (130 mil) and many others will climb back to the top. This should not be a reason for the reset though, there are many other legit reasons to reset like
1. A new map (which could come with a new spawn, bosses, and more)
2. Perhaps implementing some of the new minecraft items? (new arrows, blocks, etc.)
3. An opportunity to update some of the factions plugins and bugs
4. Something new (a casino, coinflip, new items in crates, etc.)
Some of these could of course just be an update to the current factions map and server, but it also makes sense that a big update would come with a reset; historically speaking, this has been the case more so than not.
Finally, if there were to be a reset, payouts to the /f top would seem fair and a logical source of motivation. This idea of hard work rolling over to a new reset is already going to happen for people who make the FREE status on prison- this should apply to factions too. I think the payouts should be to more than just the top 3, maybe the top 10 (1st place $100, 2nd $75, 3rd, $50, 4-6 $25, 7-10 $15?).Of course, the higher places would get more money, but something as little as a $15 bonus would get more people into the /f top process (and would help jump-start the new factions map as most of this money would probably be spent on keys). Even if first place only gets something like $25 and #10 gets $5, this would be great for the community.

Finally, after talking to a few people in-game, it seems that there is a sense of hesitation (myself included a little) of buying one-time use items like gapples, enchant tokens, and mcmmo stats from the store for fear of having them deleted soon on this map. I feel like a reset would have these people finally buy their items since they would officially know that their purchases would last for at least a year (if not more) after the reset happens.
Just my two cents.

You're talking about how Royhal has a 100M+ value that can't be beaten. yet last reset the same issue was here. you can't keep resetting stuff just because you aren't topplayer. If you'd be topplayer you also don't want a reset just bc the underdogs want it..... plus, there are A LOT of glitches and issues with factions that need to be fixed first inb4 you can do a clean reset imo...

Thing is just cus i am the 'richest player' doesnt mean anything, does the reset mean that next reset if there is one? who says i wouldnt just shoot back up in the smal time i did again, i mean i made 60+mil in a some what of a month with barely trying to earn it, just because you guys are under powered or as kon said 'underdogs' doesnt mean a reset is needed for you to rise, i came from nothing just like lots of others did, im not saying a reset is not needed but i am saying there is no point in doing a reset when it will be the same just time lost, cannons are broken to a degree, many other glitches still work that are probs undiscovered, no point in reseting it early just because of 'rich players' also if you didnt notice f top will not stay the same a few weeks ago there clearly was many rich factions that have fell, my faction still has its worth just not placed , there is no gap in f top just because you are low on it doesnt mean there is a gap for others.
