LightningCard
First Step
Hello everybody! After many tries and many errors I was finally able to create an account on the website (It took me 3 days and I think about 8 tries). So I thought I should introduce myself to y'all. (P.S Do not use Chrome to create an account, that was the issue all along haha)
So my name is LightningCard, well obviously that is not my real name but I do not like throwing my real name out into the world of the internets. I am a 20 year old college student from the Netherlands who has been playing minecraft for.... I think 8 years? Not entirely certain but I know it's been quite a while haha!
I am currently studying to become a teacher of English for high school students, and right now I am nearing the end of my first year. Gotta say I really enjoy the course so far.
I work in a butcher's shop (Don't worry I don't actually butcher the animals I just do the selling part, also we have fresh sandwiches which is the section I usually run) and have been working there for almost a year.
Besides gaming, going to school and working I do quite a few other things, for example:
- I do quite a bit of reading (just for fun);
- I write sometimes;
- Listen to music;
- I sing quite a bit (I learn songs almost immediately after hearing them 1 time, idk how it just happens);
- I like playing with my nephew (became an aunt about a year and two months ago and he is such a cute little nugget);
- And lastly I go to the gym at least twice sometimes 3 times a week.
I used to do horseback riding however due to my school schedule I unfortunately had to give that up, but might start again sometime in the future.
I have 2 cats, Bonnie and Clyde and they are almost 6 years old I believe. And yes they are as mischievous as the real Bonnie and Clyde. (See picture, they were kittens in that picture, the dark 1 is Bonnie and the light 1 is Clyde)
Besides minecraft I play quite a view other games, I've played all of the Assassin's Creed games (or am currently playing them, for example AC Odyssey is taking me a while), I am currently playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and really enjoy it so far and lots of other games that I cannot even remember all of them.
Lastly some little facts about me:
- My favourite colours are blue (really like the dark navy blue), purple and moss green (cause my eyes are that colour haha)
- My parents are divorced however they get along just fine. I switch between my parents each week and have been doing that for 7 years now;
- I used to have a dog that I loved to death, however she unfortunately passed away when I was 17 (see picture)
- My mom remarried meaning I have a step father and step brother but I see them as normal family;
- Minecraft was my escape from the world because I was bullied quite a bit for about my entire schoollife until my last year of high school when I decided I wouldn't let other people rule my world.
If you wish to see me I mostly play on the realms server or the parkour server. Might hop on survival or skyblock from time to time.
