Intro
Let me be clear. This has no concrete proof other than the fact that Sulve has admitted to this (in-game) twice.. although he'll most likely deny it here to cover his scamming tendencies. He has also personally admitted to me that he is not 18, and he is 12. Okay with all this in mind, if you're still reading, that means you still follow. Continue and find out exactly how this scam works and who've they've scammed, what they've scammed.
The Plan
This plan is very simple, very easy to follow, and is very direct. It is based primarily on trust, alot of trust. One may ask, how does a single prepubescent 12 year old gain so much trust from another player? Simple, with the help of a previously thought "helpful and trustworthy" staff member. It was only yesterday when a group of friends and I were discussing how helpful and deserving she was of getting Mod. Sorry, who am I talking about? Georgie. GeorgieMC. Here's how it goes. Sulve is looking for irl deals for rank upgrades etc, so when he finds a buyer, he asks them to go first. Obviously this is a setup for a scam, if you fell for this you deserved to get scammed. Naturally, many people say they can't trust Sulve. So he brings in Georgie, a staff member, to vouch for Sulve, offering to be the middle man. The person now trusts Sulve because a staff member vouched for him, so they pay Georgie the money. That's where they went wrong. Georgie then proceeds to keep the money, and Abra Kadabra the person got scammed. Such a case is Sizzlefish's scam. Sizzlefish was scammed by both Georgie and Sulve a couple days ago. Another case was FluffyCakesFTW. He was personally warned by multiple people that Sulve could not be trusted but like Sizzle, he was given Georgie's word and was scammed soon thereafter.
What do they scam?
What sucks about this scam is not that it's a scam... it's that it's a scam of irl money. This is money that people have worked for, people have labored for, that they are putting in towards the development and advancement of a video game server. This is horrible and the fact that this warrants no punishment is very saddening and disappointing.
Conclusion
This post was created not to bash anybody, to call out anybody, it was created purely with the intention to warn future players who are desperately looking for irl's during this wonderful sale that Marten has provided. Do not trust Georgie or Sulve, apparently scams are allowed and this includes irl scams. So once again, be careful and I hope everybody had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
