How do you toggle /pay?

I'm helping out a new buddy of mine and since the new chest shops are a little more difficult than they used to be, were just doing some math and giving each other $ for items. Easy stuff.

My issue is, he has /pay off or so it says "PEELYFORTNITE2 is not accepting payments"

I've asked around with no true answers to my question. Does anyone know how to fix this?

/paytoggle toggles payments on and off, same command
