How to give ranks?

I wanted to give my friend a rank on my faction. I typed /f coleader "name" and it said "you don't have permission to promote member to co leader". Can anyone help? And can someone send me a list of all commands because I am completely new to factions.

Only the owner of the faction has access to promotions. If you’re the owner try /f promote
