Island Score

Where can I find info about how the Island Score is calculated? Or a basic how-to guide? I figured out most of it on my own, but it would be nice for there to be an easily accessible player's guide for us brand-newbies.

Regarding island score, each block type has a value but each block is also limited to how much total score the block type can give. Example after 100(This is an example might not be the correct number) diamond blocks they will no longer give you extra island score.
