Hello there, I was wondering if advertising your Youtube account counted as "Advertising" ? I did not see this in the rules, and I would like clarification on it before I do anything I would regret.

Well to be honest, i find just spamming like most kids do: "please go watch my channel here (insert link)"
Very much count as advertising...
But that is of course my opinion...

It only says no advertising of other servers, but never says anything about other links.

I know mate, this is why you asked the question to begin with...
But again, I only stated my personal opinion. I find it and like many other players as well, a tad annoying when people spam on discord and in the game chat constantly that we have to check out their youtube channels...
I believe you can do it but with a good approach though, don't just spam I guess.

Besides, getting people to sub but who won't watch fully your videos will not help you grow. YouTube analytics do not work that way.
Have good content and the subs, views and comments will come by themselves.

Snapcraft forums does have a YouTube thread which is for this purpose. You can also add it to your signature. Anywhere else (unless its in good context) is spam.

You are allowed to advertise your YouTube channel as long as it doesn't get spammy.
