The whole loss of all my money thing and all my p4 is great and all, but you guys should really add fences to the map go we can fence gap.

"Everyone" = Who? Knights, Primarily, random people that sometimes pick them up, And that's about it. Players could endlessly regenerate (Yes, there's exceptions, but ya), So the ability to automatically eat items wasn't integrated into the new map.

Last time I checked... You can fence eat also. You know with something called, STEAK. "Fencing" is a benefit for all.

That still doesn't out weigh the fact that you can instantly eat golden apples and regenerate. Also, there's "benefits for all" and then there's "equal benefits for all".

Not all players have the ability to purchase a rank, whether it being not having the money or just not wanting a rank. They shouldn't have to buy a rank to achieve the same amount of fun as any other.

Actually, that statement is false. Everyone has the ability to purchase a rank, but they may not want to or not have the money. Also, we paid for /mount, so we got it.

I don't want to be one to point fingers here, but let's sit back and lay some ground rules, shall we? This goes for every person reading.

Exploiting
Exploiting is not allowed. No ifs, ands or buts allowed. Period. End of story. That's how we roll here, so if you'd like to complain please escort yourself out through the nearest window (and don't forget to close it behind you. Don't want any robbers hopping through). The rules, as Bas has stated, specifically say:

No exploits. I've heard about the fact that almost everyone does it, and I've seen people do it in just about every Report video as well. It really isn't allowed at all, and we've been very, very, very laid back about this as of the last map. A few people reported others exploiting, it was toyed with for a long while, and speak of it was kept to a minimum due to our rather obvious decision for the next map. Now, let's say for a brief moment that it was allowed. Most people would know how to do it already, but quite a few new and recurring players wouldn't have a clue, making it an unfair advantage unless we posted a giant board displaying "HOW TO FENCE GLITCH" for the world to see. We'd also have to stick in random fences that probably won't fit in too well with the map (being more natural by... well... its nature). Not going to happen any time soon, I'd think.

Certainly, if another exploit, eating or otherwise, is found, I'll personally see to it that it's put down. We want everything to stay fair, and I'm frankly sick of these arguments. Yes, I've heard of other Staff members doing this as well. I'm not sure if this is true, but it makes it such that Staff can't exploit either, and nobody can go around pointing fingers and whining about the general "don't 'monkey see, monkey do'" rule.

Fence Gapping
Fence gapping is when you hit a fence while eating a gapple (golden apple) so that you run while eating said apple or food. You don't even know, but there was a "sigh heard 'round the Build World" when we finished the map without any fences. This has always been an issue, and will no longer be one thanks to map design. If you have any complaints to make, direct them to higher Staff, or even at me. I'd love to hear what you have to say on the subject.

Also, you need to know this: I am done with excuses. I believe other Staff members are very much done as well. Saying "My brother installed a hacked client on my computer" or "This is my other account and I forgot about the hacks" isn't acceptable. Stop making excuses when it comes to hacked clients. It isn't a very good way to waste the time of Staff, as you know you had the client (because it's obvious), you know what profile to choose, and you know how to turn on the certain "needed" hacks. Just please, don't. You're not making it any easier for anyone. I think of it like a prison sentence: If you own up to what you did and face it, your sentence may be shorter (as long as you promise, of course, not to do it again). you probably shouldn't compare it to prison, though. :flintandsteel:
