when we the players ask for staff help in main chat or in private message with a grief are they the staff supposed to help you or just ignore that you never asked for help?? Im new around here and yes i have read all the rules in game and on forums.

They are supposed to help you yes, however staff members often get a lot of messages in chat as they are busy people and they aren't able to help everyone at once unfortunately. If whoever you are messaging isn't replying you can always do /staff and go ask another staff member who maybe online or make a support ticket about your problem here on the forums.
