Nub with questions

Hiya, blockheads! I'm an ultra nub to this, but I purchased an elite rank in survival and I'm not used to all these mods and addons that snapcraft has to offer.

Anyone care to fill me in on what some of this stuff does?

• /repair
• /weather
• /chest 1-3
• /clear
• /shout
• /recipe
• /exp
• /time
• /top
• All cow, pig, sheep, chicken, wolf, squid, ocelot, villager, skeleton, spider disguises
• Kit elite(1 set of Prot 2, Unbreaking 2 diamond armor, 1 sharp 3 diamond sword, 4 God apples)

/repair - repairs tool you are holding in your hand

/weather - can't be used, but would used for checking or changing weather

/chest - extra storage spaces (each storage space being the size of a double chest

/clear - clears inventory

/shout - sends a message in chat that everyone in the server can see

/recipe - used to see the crafting recipe of an item (example: /recipe craftingtable)

/exp - shows your level, and how much xp you need to level up

/time - can't be used, but would be used to check and change the time of day

/top - used to get to the highest point of someplace in your area (I believe?) can be used when inside of a house and you want to quickly get on the roof, for example.

EDIT:

/dis (mob name) - used to change your appearance to any mob you listed (won't show up on your screen, but will on other's) /dis cow <- turns you into a cow /undis <- turns off disguise

/kit elite - gives the items you listed, but has a long cool down so it can't be used over and over

Thanks a lot for all that. Why would anyone use /clear though? Is that primarily for destroying garbage or is there another use for it that I'm not yet familiar with?

Also, are there any other commands/tools in survival that I may need to know or may be helpful?

No problem, not many people use it unless they want to clear their inventory if it's full of stuff they don't want or need. Also, I'm not sure if you know, but a golden shovel is used to claim land so others can't do anything with your builds or items. (Stick can be used for more precise claiming of land). No useful commands coming to the top of my head right now, but if I think of any I'll let you know. Enjoy Survival (:

Thanks again.

Yeah, I figured out the land protection right away, it's kind of my big draw to survival servers, making sure my builds stay safe from hoodlums and bandits alike.

A couple more questions, if you or anyone else may know:

This will probably be the dumbest of all questions, but what are these God apples?

On the survival server, are there any villages or towns, cities, whatevers other than the main? Are there player made shops or storefronts anywhere?

Regular God Apples gives you Absorption 1 and Regeneration 2.

Enchanted Apples give you Regeneration, Absorption, Fire Resistance, and Resistance.

One of the most known shops and towns is at /warp 7eleven owned by Frijolero and Mamasita (at least that's one of the towns and shops I know, I haven't been on survival in a little while)

Gotcha. This game has changed so much since I last played. Someone just killed me like 90000000000000 miles away from the spawn with eggs. When did eggs become an instant kill weapon?

Still have like 83 hours to wait on my kit to come back around too now. lol

Haha I was the guy that talked to you in the game about it, hopefully you get their username.

Same thread, different day, another question. How does one use the /repair command? When I try it I receive a red text message saying "insufficient permissions".
