I would love to apply, read the last paragraph to see the reason why I have not applied for staff and why I will not apply. I wish all the applicants great luck however. I'm making this because several people told me to apply but they never told me that I have to apply to be a real helper. I spent awhile on this, this would be my application if I was able to be staff.

Hello, my name is Opticity (real name is Jake) and I look very forward to possibly getting the chance of working with the wonderful staff team on Snapcraft. I know that there are limited spaces, and it’s totally cool if you don’t accept mine, so before I begin, I’d like to wish everybody applying good luck, and congratulations to whoever is accepted to the staff team. You all deserve it very much, and I know you will do well for the server.
A little about me (general information) My name is Jake, I prefer Jake over any other nicknames or names, but I’m also okay with any of my previous ingame names. You may call me Opticity, Emeraldz, Discussions, Nitroade100, or iEmeraldd. It doesn’t really matter to me. I live near Los Angeles, CA (United States) Pacific Standard Timezone. I joined Survival snapcraft around 1.5 years ago, when Snap 1 and Snap 2 were around. However, after about a month of playing I quit the server due to being raided of all my supplies and my friends quit. I recently came back about 6 months ago and started donating and actively playing and interacting with the community. My obsession with Kitpvp started recently after I gave everything away on survival (I was elite) and I bought Warrior, then a couple days ago, Knight. Definitely worthy purchases I enjoy both of my ranks very much. I usually play for about 30 minutes to an hour at the most on weekdays since now I have my own server I might have to shorten that, and on weekends I can be on anywhere from one hour to all day, depending on my schedule and what my own staff team needs.
I have been muted one time on Snap 2 for using profane language by one of the owners, but that is the only punishment I’ve ever been given. I used profane language one time recently when I lost all my diamond items but confessed to Lozl and he let me slide with a warning. Other than that, my slate is clean and I don’t plan on ever breaking any more rules.
My job as a helper is not only to help, not only have a good time, but make sure the players have a good time. Being a helper is very important to the server, and staff members who just ban and punish not interact and makes sure people are happy aren't the kind of staff servers need. A server (in my opinion) needs staff members that are willing to throw parties, drop events, and socialise with the players to make sure they are happy. On top of that, however, I am willing to be very mature for my age (which is 15) and take care of rulebreakers with the standard punishments (giving no leeway unless it’s minor issue and another staff says that it’s okay to let it slide.) We all know that there are a ton of hackers on Snapcraft, and I will do my best to ban them when I see them after recording sufficient proof. I will actively monitor the reports section and immediately log and punish all users that are breaking rules. Another major job of the staff is to help players with questions. I see many users who don’t get helped, usually because there are no staff on, and I try to help them even though I’m not staff. Whether I got staff or didn’t, everyone should be able to give a lending hand when people need help and I feel that as a staff I can help even more with player requests, due to the fact that I have more powers as a staff member that I don’t have currently. There are many other minor things Helpers do, and I can list them later if you would like. This is how I feel I could assist the staff team if I was given this rank.
A little bit about myself: I’m 15, I love volleyball (I’m not on a team but in the future might join my high schools’ volleyball team, considering the fact that she hates sports and me so I probably won’t be able to do it. I’m bisexual and have gone through depression, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts and can be very helpful in game with people who are struggling with depression or things like that. I like to talk to people and counsel people who are going through the living hell that I deal with every day, usually people feel better but I can’t speak for everybody. One thing depression has done to me is matured me greatly. I used to speak very profanely, and would have considered myself as one of the little immature brats on the server, but ever since 7th grade, I’ve been very mature usually at all times, and if I’m having fun, I can turn into a very mature attitude in a matter of minutes.
Note: The only reason I’m not really applying is the simple fact I’m not allowed to call, and if I was, I don’t even have a microphone. I have a mom that feels that using skype calls endangers me and is going to get somebody killed. We of course disagree, and I will work to convince her otherwise, so if there was a way to get the rank without having to participate in calls, I would do so immediately (which I know is impossible.) I have to face this because she’s my mother, and I can’t just say “no” or I’ll probably get grounded, and I’m sorry for this. My skype is iEmeraldd if anyone wants to add me for fun. Last of all, I’ve been a part of the minecraft community since I got minecraft in 2012 and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for spending the time to read this, it means a lot to me.
