add a pvp pit at spawn

Two wipes ago there was a pit in which you would pvp in. This used to be located at spawn, in the center. However now it is the nearly never used /warp pvp located in the end. The main problems of the end consist of:

- people epearl and run when low on gear or gaps

- lack of people

- new players do not know about /warp pvp

I've spoken to a lot of people and they all agree bringing back the pit would be super fun. The reaper pit looks really clean where it is, however this could be replaced with a pvp pit and the reaper could be moved elsewhere (end, corner of spawn, or nether next to surtur).

I mean if warp pvp were to be removed this means there could be room for potentially a 1.9 end, or just keep the pit and /warp pvp.

We have /warp PVP. New players won't know about much, and you can ask via chat. If no one shows up, no one would want to PVP.

New players that don't know about /warp pvp wouldn't stand a chance against older players who'd go around the spawn pvp pit anyways.
A few years ago, I used to see a lot of new people go into the spawn pvp pit without knowing what it is and just quit the server after losing everything they have.

The new envoy plugin, although I'm not sure if it works perfectly, was added to bring a more pvp-filled environment around the spawn area.

I do agree that people throwing ender pearls and running away whenever they're about to die is annoying. I don't understand why the ability to throw ender pearls in combat was added on any server other than kitpvp. Pvp just turned into "fight until one of them keeps throwing pearls to run away till the end of time". Not only it brought more toxicity to the server, but also gave more advantage to those who use hacked clients because they can see where the players threw the ender pearls at.

I somewhat agree, however the pit could be covered in glass like the reaper and then a sign could say “do /warp pit to enter”

A pit would be dumb because if two people agree on pvping and one of them calls all their buddies to come and team on that one guy then that one guys wouldn’t have any way to get out
