Raided with sponges... Help!

So... I had three sponges protecting my house. Logged on today to find that its been raided, all of my chests... everything. I spent real $$ on some spawners as a gift to my house partner. Any suggestions?

There is something odd about this. Make sure they were inside the protection perimeter. I myself have failed to place things completely inside.

I agree with what jasonstover9 said, you may have placed them incorrectly.

Griefing in sponged areas is impossible. however, if you do not log in for over 45 days the sponges will be removed automatically.
