Survival Pvp

Just a few minutes ago I was playing on survival and went to the PvP arena. shaunpvp_ used "/d chicken" and ran in the arena and came at me as a chicken. I think this should not be allowed for a few reasons. The biggest reason is the major advantage the user of "/d chicken" has over the opponent. Extremely small and fast target to try and hit so it's basically rare that someone will take them when they rush. Like I said it gives a serious advantage in the arena and like no Flying or Creative in the arena, I think there should be no disguises in the arena to make things fair.

Then what would players use disguises for? I've never found it hard to hit them. And even if you don't hit them, they undisguise after their first hit.

Use disguise for fun not the advantage. The difference is their a smaller target and the surprise element. What he said after he killed me was "It works every time", so he/she knows without a doubt it gives an advantage and they keep using it.

Also I take actions in PvP based on what I see. Say someone in iron armor comes at you, you don't eat a god apple or use a strength/speed pot do you? When a player in diamond or diamond enchanted gear runs at you, you might take more drastic actions with your items and play strategically. When a chicken runs at you, you don't know what is or will happen. Getting the first 3-4 hits in the beginning of a right right off the bat is in your favor, and they can achieve this %95 of the time being a chicken in disguise.

Be more observative & aware? I'm struggling to see how hard it is to see a chicken. You can hit them just as much as they hit you, and if they get 3-4 hits before you can even touch them then maybe that's just your problem.

I don't think you get what I just wrote. Let me put it plainly, No chicken means I can see what I'm dealing with, when as chicken means I don't until it's already hitting me. That alone is a serious advantage.
I like your dog
Thanks, I have two dogs, one wolf (Fiona) and three cats. The one in my picture, her name is Fiona.

Maybe you should plan to fight? We can't make everything blatantly obvious or it would be completely boring.

/d chicken is like a wild card thrown in your face, you don't know what your up against until it's already there. It would be okay if we both had it to even the odds and make it a bit more fun. It wouldn't be boring it would be fun. PvP is just as fun without /d except less of an advantage toward one player.

For PvP uses, I wouldn't find it fair either. But hey, is it supposed to be fair? Or not? From your judgement, you're making it sound like it's their problem that an extremely small player in disguise is for the advantage uses and that just because it's easy for you, make it for others? I always thought of it as a fun addition. But I don't play survival so... :-P
