Hey! So I was thinking, and dont you guys find it annoying when you cant see a certain player?

So, I was thinking, if you pushed a certain key bind on your keyboard with tab menu open, you could actually SEARCH for a players name, or some filter options (see picture 1).

And, yes, I understand there is such thing as going in chat, typing the players first couple of letters, and pressing tab, but its just a cool addition in my opinion.

This is an rarely asked question / suggestion. However, what is the benefits and why should this be added in is a key thing, you have to add it in the post if you would like to suggest something (like this one). If it is just for coolness or a random small addition to the server, why not focus on a much-bigger suggestion made by others, like what you said yourself that it is just a cool addition that could be added into the server, if thats the case, the developers (including Maartenz, the owner) could focus on a much more benefiting thing that could be added in. Hope you could understand what I'm trying to say.

Something I haven't seen in a while. This is a good idea! If you really want to get your point across, try posting this everywhere (but not everywhere). Try starting it in "Suggestions".

One issue, at least when I press tab for player names, the second I let go of tab player names vanish. In this way, I would have to keep holding tab to type in a name. How could we get over this(Other than making is so you click tab once to open, and tab again to close)?

If you know what name you want to type you can start to type it like: crazy
By then pressing tab it will finish out any names beginning with what you typed like: crazycow, crazygurlisshy, crazypain_killer

i like the filter search though, you can see everyone of a certain rank, or in the case of prisons, everyone in the same mine rank. also everyone should note that HE is willing to make the plugin for this to work

Just open your chat, and press tab. It should show you all of the names.

on more populated servers, after a certain # of people are on, the tab menu doesn't get any bigger. So because of that you can never see everyone who is on at the same time. also for servers like prison, having it be able to be organized by rank or mine rank would be helpful seeing as there is little to no organization to that menu

So, for example, if I were to press tab, it would just come up with the User Interface, no filter options or search, but if I were to press something like TAB and Shift, it could be a held Interface, with the filter options.

It is, but with more possibility. So it would be easier to find all of a certain rank, and it would just be a neat little plugin, and also tab sometimes doesn't work

I understand what you are trying to say, I would work on this plugin, and it would make navigation easier for the players, or to bring possiby more income to the server by making a user having to have had voted, or bought a rank above a specific level.
