Upgrading servers?

Are there any plans to upgrade the servers soon? The lag the last hours, and the amount of buggy redstone is ridiculous. Or are there atleast any plans to optimize the servers in any way?

Something to add to this is that there are times where everybody freezes for a few seconds and then there is a little lag then it is back to normal, is there a server issue or some side effects from the hardrive issue?

Sometimes servers reset.
