Why Is There No More Rank Upgrades?

I am just wondering why Snapcraft decided to remove the rank upgrade feature.

It's not, it's just built into the purchasing feature now. The price of your current rank is deducted off the price of the rank you are trying to buy, thus giving you the upgraded rank.

Example:
If you currently have Redstone (70 euro), and you wish to buy Diamond (160 Euro), the price on the page for you would be 90 euros, since the upgrade price is the deduction between the two ranks.
