Will There Be A 1.9 Server Reset?

I was just wondering if anyone knows if there will be a whole server reset when the huge 1.9 update comes out.

Usually when a server goes from a completely new version (1.7 > 1.8 for example) There is usually not a reset for a while as it takes them a long time testing all the new stuff the new version has to make sure that there is no massive exploits.
