Xray ?

He, I play creative a lot because I like building a lot, my plot is finished but, I want to go underground though, am I allowed to use Xray for light ( You can have like infinite night vision with that, but a lot better )

I was just wondering, I want to ask first before I do it, I don't really play survival or factions where xray is not allowed.
