Hello, players of Snapcraft,
We're thrilled to present a fresh start, a full revamp of our skyblock server. With feedback from players and hours spent brainstorming and testing, we've crafted an experience that's both familiar and excitingly new. We heard the feedback of it being boring and having nothing to work for, that is why we fully turned it into a fun and grindy gamemode!
What's New?
From texture packs to quests, from island upgrades to custom ores, we've introduced a plethora of new features that will redefine the way you play. But at its heart, our aim remains: to offer a grindy, engaging, and lasting gameplay experience.
Our Vision
We want to create a skyblock server that continuously evolves. Our commitment is to provide monthly content updates, keeping the game fresh and intriguing. Your progress matters, and we've made sure it stays with you, we are not planning to do any resets!. Dive deep into the gameplay, discover collectables, and always find something new to do.

What's New in the 1.20 skyblock update?
We've gone above and beyond to bring you an brand new and thrilling Skyblock experience. Here are the key highlights of what you can expect in the 1.20 update:
Server Version! Full revamp and now in version 1.20
We've made a brand new server for Skyblock and it's now on version 1.20. We wanted to do things differently and give you all something new to enjoy. Our aim is to make a game mode that you can play for a long time without getting bored. You won't lose your progress because we don't plan to reset this version. You can collect items, discover new things, and always have fun stuff to do.
To keep things fun and engaging, we're committing to roll out monthly updates. These will introduce fresh content or features, ensuring that there's always a new experience waiting for you.
New! Introducing Our New Texture Pack!
We've made a big change on our server: we're using a brand new texture pack! This isn't just any texture pack; it opens doors for us to bring in fresh gameplay elements that weren’t achievable before.
With this new addition, we've poured in loads of new features. You'll find an array of unique cosmetics, a variety of new ores, exclusive armor sets, and a massive collection of over 1,000 furniture designs.
This is just the beginning. As we explore more of what this texture pack offers, expect to see continuous updates that enhance and diversify your gameplay experience.
New! Quests & Storyline!
Good news for adventurers! We've created a storyline in the form of quests just for you. These aren’t basic quests they're your roadmap through the all features of our Skyblock server.
As you complete these quests, not only will you discover how to make the most out of the game, but you'll also enjoy the challenge it offers. With each quest, expect to unveil new aspects of the game such as special mob drops, new spawners, custom crops, and even whole new worlds.
And an important note: these quests will be taking over the player levels we used to have, bringing more depth and purpose to your gameplay.
New! Welcome to the New Spawn!
Step into a fresh and new spawn area we've built. As you explore, you'll find diverse houses, each hosting different stores. From general shop to shops like the furniture shop, cosmetics store, and even a PvP arena, there’s so much to find.
While you walk around, you might notice some locked areas and houses - a little teaser of the exciting content we're planning for the future.
Our spawn isn’t just a spawn it’s filled with custom decorations and models. This isn't your regular Skyblock spawn – it promises a unique experience.
New! Discover Our Worlds
Our quest/storyline leads you to unlock various worlds, each unique and new with life. We currently have five custom worlds, each having special zones, and each zone has its own set of mobs.
1. Endworld: Your first adventure begins here. Explore areas like the Enderman Islands, Silverfish Islands, and the Iron Golem Tower. The special thing? Mobs here have a chance to drop enchanted spawners, like an Enderman potentially dropping an enchanted Enderman spawner The silverfish has a chance to drop the silverfish spawner. This is for every mob in every zone.
Plus, they have custom drops unique to Endworld.
2. Wooded Wild: Venture into earth-themed zones, from the Panda Forest to the Zombie's Graveyard, the Skeleton's Skull, the Spider's Cave, and the explosive Creeper's Exploding Forest. Here, mobs might give you enchanted spawners too. But that's not all!
They also drop 'magic drops' exclusive to air mobs, which sell for good prices within the shop. They also drop earth crystals; they play a big part in ranking in island top and boosting spawner drop chances in this zone.
3. OceanWorld: Dive deep and meet water-themed mobs. Visit the Dolphin's Sanctuary, and explore the Glow Squid's Light Cave, Squid's Dark Lands, Drowned's Castle, and the Guardian's Temple.
Mobs here don't just offer custom drops; they also give you a chance to collect water crystals.
4. Underworld: Feeling hot? It's time for fire-themed zones. Blaze Fortress, Zoglin's Forest, Ghast's Ash Lands, Hoglin's Burned Forest, and the Piglin Brute Temple await your exploration.
Apart from the custom drops, watch out for the fire crystals these mobs might drop.
5. Airlands: Soar high in this sky-themed world. Enjoy the Parrot's Jungle, visit the Allay's Temple, and experience the Bee Nectar Clouds, Phantom's Dark Islands, and the Vex Forest.
Of course, mobs here also have their unique drops and a chance to drop and give you air crystals.
With each world offering its own experiences and surprises, your journey on our server will never be dull! You can unlock each world and zone with your quest, this means you have to grind to unlock better spawners!
New! Grinding Gameplay Mode
As mentioned before we've changed how things work! Instead of the usual Skyblock style where you just get spawners, set them up on your island, and then afk while your grinders work, we've introduced a change. We wanted to make things more challenging and rewarding.
Now, you can't simply buy spawners from a shop. Instead, you have to earn them by grinding in the various worlds and zones. Want an Iron Golem spawner? First, you'll need to unlock the Iron Golem zone by completing specific quests. Once there, battle the Iron Golems and hope they drop a spawner for you. And guess what? You can also boost the chances of spawners dropping!
Work your way through all the worlds and zones, battling mobs to collect as many spawners as you can. This shift means gameplay is now more about active grinding rather than just being AFK.
We are not planning to reset, and only add more content, so your time is not going to waste!
Updated! Crates System
We've given the crates a makeover! The old crates didn't fit our gameplay anymore, and honestly, there wasn't a big difference between a rare and a legendary crate. So, we started fresh. Now, each crate has unique rewards that make them special.
Plus, the prizes in the crates get better the higher your quest level. This means even when you're advanced in the game, crates still have value!
Here's a breakdown of the new crates:
- Vote Crate: Get this by voting. It has basic rewards, but they get better as your quest level rises.
- Island Crate: Packed with things to boost your island.
- Equipment Crate: Find special armor in here to aid you during gameplay.
- Cosmetics Crate: Random fun cosmetics await! From cool hats to backpacks and even balloons.
- Seasonal Crate: A limited-time crate. Once it's gone, it's gone forever, making its items collectibles.

New! All-New Furniture Designs!
Thanks to our new texture pack, we can now do so much more! We've added over 1000 unique furniture designs. These designs let you give your island a personal touch.
Every day, at the furniture shop in the spawn area there are new items. Every 24 hours, it refreshes with different furniture like couches, chairs, TVs, plants, special carpets, and loads more!
It's a whole new way to make your island customized! And will give a completely new Minecraft feeling.
New! Dress Up with Cosmetics!
We've added many cosmetics to our game, and we're excited about more to come! Right now, to kick off the season, we offer over 100 types of hats, 38 choices of balloons, and 15 different backpacks. We believe this is a good start, but we will add more in the future.
With these cosmetics, you can really change how your character looks. Make your character unique and special!
New! Ores for Your Island!
We've added many new ores for you. Now, we have silver, amber, iridium, Mythril, Amethyst, Jade, Malachite, Lithium, Ruby, and Autorium.
Want these new ores? Upgrade your island's cobblestone generator and you can find them. Once you get these ores, you can melt them to make ingots. Then, use the ingots to make new blocks. Place these blocks on your island to make it more valuable. We have plans to add more uses for these ores in the future!
Revamped! Island Upgrades!
We've taken a fresh look at island upgrades and made some big changes. As we've shared earlier, our goal is to make the gameplay more about grinding and working for rewards.
To help achieve this, we've reworked the island upgrade system. Now, each type of island upgrade comes with many more levels for you to achieve. This means you'll have to put in more time and effort to unlock each level, but the rewards will be worth it.
The more you play and grind, the more you can enhance and grow your island. Dive in, start grinding, and see all the new heights your island can reach!
New! and Improved Transfer Shop!
We've made big changes to the Transfer Shop! Our aim is to make it fit better with the updated gameplay and economy.
The Transfer Shop is now made just for you. All the rewards inside are specially for you.
What's more, the rewards get better as your quest level increases. This means the harder you work and the more you unlock in quests, the better the goodies you'll find in the Transfer Shop. Dive in and see the personal rewards waiting for you!
New! Island Top System!
We've made changes to the Island Top rankings. Now, there are 3 categories to climb up:
- Spawners: This counts the spawners you set on your island. Each type of spawner has its own value. The rarer the spawner, the higher it's worth. Get spawners by defeating mobs in different zones.
- Blocks: Like before, we count stacked blocks of materials like iron, gold, and diamond. Plus, we’ve added new special ores! These are more valuable. Get these ores from your cobblestone generator, turn them into ingots, make blocks, and place them on your island for more value.
- Crystals: You can gather crystals in many ways – from farming, fighting other players, mining, and exploring worlds. Drop these crystals into your island's beacon to boost your island's value.
With these three paths, there are more ways to top the Island rankings!
Misc. Updates & Changes
We've also been working on tweaking and refining many aspects of skyblock! Here's a brief overview:
- Performance Improvements: We've made several optimizations to ensure smoother gameplay.
- Bug Fixes: Squashed some pesky bugs that were causing issues.
- New Additions: Added some small surprises! Keep an eye out for them as you explore.
- Balancing: Made necessary adjustments to maintain a fair and balanced gameplay.
- A brand new scoreboard.
- Updated the goldshop
- Added new classes.
- Reworked playtimerewards.
- A bunch of help information menus.
- A new and improved settings menu.
- Updated the island top with different categories.

Question and Answers
Why did skyblock reset?
Skyblock just needed a reset, a new version of Minecraft has been released, so skyblock should be updated to that version too. But in order to do that a full reset is required.
This means all claims, items, money and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features, and updates the different kinds of gameplay and style being provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!
