There are way too many announcements spamming the chat in-game like every minute. I mean like yea there should be announcements so new people can get a handle on what is going on, but seriously, there is way too many. I think it needs to be changed

Issue with a toggle is, if there are new announcements and people have announcements toggled then they would miss out on that announcement, which could potentially benefit them. This has been suggested before as said by honey. I personally feel like the announcements are fine as they are, maybe if there is a large call for a change then it could be an idea to make the announcement delay a little bit longer? So they don't pop up as much?

Toggling announcements was already denied as a suggestion. He previously made a longer delay before a new one sends, not sure if he will make it longer.

Tbh I agree, I just feel that its a good compromise personally, but I see your point
