Fake sponges?

I was reading on the forums and I remember that someone said that all sponges are protection sponges...

I was just just playing on today I bought again 6 sponges with the money I made with farming and such...
Then at the end I just realised they would not stack normally... Then I noticed they have different text...
Did I just not notice these are different and perhaps... Fake?

Please tell me I am wrong

They are both normal sponges. If the one with the yellow name gets placed and then broken again. Itll have the green texts too!

Really?! Omg! I was so depressed when I saw that just now. I just was so down from the shock that I just logged out. lol...
I mean I really thought I just wasted half of 60k of the earned money...

The yellow sponges are from the beginning kit, so you started off with one.
Green ones I believe are from the shop or webshop.

After you place & break it, it becomes green.
