Need Help on Survival Economy

So the roof of my house is too high. Even though my claim sponge is there, someone put a sponge in the roof. The claim went down into my house, and I can no longer use anything, not even the door. I tried to get staff to help, but they were pretty skeptical of my story, insisting that I had never claimed the location. The sponge on the roof is the one that overlapped my claim. It belongs to someone named "candycorn_kid." My sponge, placed first, is buried underneath the grass block. What should I do?

Normally claims can't overlap, not even your own claims.

Sponges can't be placed where it would overlap a region, so technically he couldn't of placed it. But have you tried to break your sponge and place it again?

That grass block is under someone else's region, but I might just dig under. I'll try that as soon as I can, and thanks for your help.
