non pvp fishing zone

in the new map there is a very nice and chill contest where you can win various prices.
the downfall of this event is every templar or geared guy still goes towards killing you and taking your stuff.
first impression of the contest was decent its fun to fish and to have a goal of placing nr 1 to get the reward. but the problem still stands that people can kill you after you jump down with your rod and no gear just to spite you or to ruin your chances.
thats why i suggest we get a special /warp or builded area for fishing where there is no pvp or make the treasurechest build on the new map a NON PVP zone for the 30 minutes of the contest.

let non pvpers have fun while we battle for the 1st place in fishing

I disagree with this, the event was set on pvp to make it harder to reach no1. Otherwise, this event would have been announced on survival, etc.
But I can definitely see where you're coming from.

sounds very unblanaced you are going to be making alot of money from fishing with no consequences its called kitpvp for a reason

Honestly I disagree with this, it’s pvp so it should be a pvp focused event
